Touched a rock.
Probably had a crack in it and finally gave away .
So I ground both ends down to near a point and welded it in then sleeved it with a grade 8 nut.
Will it hold?
Who knows I'm out of options.
Well I made it back to the shop. Will see how long it lasts .
