Looks bad and sounds worse.
This unit was used during grow in .Alsways seemed to collect more water and algae in the sediment bowl than the other unit.
Lately it started puffing smoke so I cleaned out the sediment bowl and replaced air filter which seemed to help for a bit .
Then I got a text that it died by 13 green.
Possibly the furthest hole from the shop lol.
That is always the way it seems with old gear.
Next morning at first light I drained out the sediment bowl and removed fuel filter and drained it out .
Had none in stock to replace it so reinstalled it.
Started up after a while and drove it in.
At full throttle it was popping and blowing blue smoke.
Machines nearing 5000 hours,so I'm thinking the obvious blown engine.
Fleets been serviced regularly so I'm crossing my fingers hopeing its a simple fix .
The above video is after tank removal pick up tube cleaned .
After inspection it was pretty gummed up with a slimmy film.
Next morning I picked up new fuel filters and figured engine was blown.
Decided to throw a new fuel filter on and cured the problem .
Oh happy day!!
