Some of the Toro's newer gear have a fuel drain tap .
This is the fuel tank on the 4300D rough mower .
The bottom of the fuel tank has an area that collects debris and water that might get in during the season . Once in a while it's a good idea to drain some out till it runs clear .
Mine had been plugged by debris so I had to give it a shot of air to loosen it so it would drain . I'll let it settle for a few days and re drain later . In the pop bottle you can see how much debris I collected the fuel is a little cloudy from the shot of air mixing water into it . Normally you would open the drain and drain it our till it flows clear . Looks like I'm going to be doing this more often . The sediment is grass clippings ...sand ..dirt ..etc. most likely from operators gloves while fueling up .
